Another First For The Boy

Remember when Eli had his first chipped tooth? Well, another first has been achieved by the Boy Wonder! Eli hopped/fell off his loft bed last night and hit his foot on his saxophone case. He was really in pain, and because I could not see any signs of injury, swelling, bruising etc. I gave him an ice pack, 2 Advil and got him back in bed. This morning there was still no swelling that I could see, but we made an appt with the Dr. this afternoon. Crutched to the clinic, and to the exam room, and to x-ray, then back to the exam room. Dr. D showed me the x-rays and yepper! Three broken bones in his foot.

So the boychick is in a "boot", the Dr. didn't think there was need for a cast, and off his foot for two weeks. We'll then go back to the x-ray dept. and see what's what. He's bummin' that he can't ride his new skateboard, or go to his favorite class--gym.
