Break (from) The Rules

I'll take a break from my rules today to make a statement. You all probably know that this is how I feel, but I'm gonna tell you again. Sin is sin. There is no big sin or little sin. There is no sin worse than another sin. There is no difference between someone stealing from Target, someone gossipping about their neighbor/wife/husband/friend/enemy, or someone killing a drug dealer. None. We sin. And when we confess our sins, we are forgiven. Period.

If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

This is one of the verses I memorized when I first became a Christian. And I held on to this one hard. In my life I had done some really "bad" sins. Then I was taught that all sin is bad. Matters not what it is, God sees it all as what it is. Then when we cry out to Him, we are clean. White. As. Snow.

Praise God for this reminder to us all. I thank God for His mercy and forgiveness for such a wretch as I. Thanks Kristi.
