We have STAND here tonight. 20 teenagers at my house. Kinda getting a junior hive on that one, but I can deal. I enjoy these children very much, and like to have them come over, just maybe not so many at a time, but I can deal. Kelli is going to be one of the chaperones, and Martha and Paul are coming too, so I know we will have fun. Besides, hey, I can deal. Or at least keep repeating the phrase--sometimes that makes it real...
So Hannah and I are cleaning up the kitchen in preparation, and I am loading the dishwasher, and thinking of a rule--shocker huh? I know I said I was going to take a break from the rules today, but it seems like a whole new day since I blogged that last one just after midnight last night.
Kristi Rule #8
The dishes will be done before I go to bed.
There is nothing more discouraging than to get up and have to do the dishes, and ones that have been sitting there all night no less. Nasty.
Granted, this doesn't happen every day of my life, and I guess it's ok that it doesn't, but I really make the effort. Nice to have a clean sink in the am. Oh, and I also get the coffee maker ready so all John has to do in the morning is push the button. How's that for love?

OK! There were 25, and they were all very well behaved. Now I'm tired. Sheesh I'm old.
