I don't usually post about all the myriad things I do in a day, because to tell the truth, I don't do that much. Today was the exception.
First on the agenda was a 7:30 blood draw for my yearly physical. The lab worker was efficient, the business office was, once again, inept. I had to do the same waiting game I experienced the last time I was there.
Next was Mary Schettle Day! We as a staff honored our favorite Mary with a breakfast trip to her favorite breakfast restaurant (McD's), then a couple of bowling games and then out to lunch at a yummy Mexican restaurant.
While we were bowling I received a frantic call from Hannah, who because of a series of unfortunate events, had missed her ride to Duluth for an SOS Players show.
I cut out early from Mary Day as they were headed to the mall, went to Hudson to grab Hannah and make the short jaunt (ha! 160 miles) to Duluth.
But really, that was a great part of the day, as we laughed and talked uninterrupted for hours.
Back home by 7 (!) to get some stuff done at home before I went to church at 9:00 to work on the Powerpoint for the band that is playing tomorrow night at the Awana Carnival at church.
Even though that was awesome fun I was toast by the time I got home about 11.
Sure was a fun-packed day, but I am glad I don't have that much every day, ya know?
