I Wonder

Why do some people wait until they have driven to the nearest stop light/sign to put on their seatbelt?

If someone had a band called "Fish Fry" would they only be allowed to play on Friday nights?

Now that smokes are six smacks a pack, how much more expensive do they need to get before everyone just quits smoking?

Oh I read that wrong. I thought you meant only 6 in a pack not $6 a pack. It used to be $2 a pack, not that I'd know. ;) Nope, I'm not wealthy enough to smoke now, that's for sure. Wow!

I just saw the price on the cigarettes I used to smoke: $64 a carton. And I used to smoke a carton a week. Still, if I hadn't quit 10 years ago, I KNOW I would find a way to come up with the money every week. It's a hard, hard habit to kick!

And Katie, I remember when my hubby would buy cigs in the Navy for under $1 a pack! Boy am I old. ;)

It's probably kinda like gas, you gotta have it, they know you will buy it, so they can do whatever they want to with the price, and then people just try to make up for it in other areas.

The Fish Fry thing now has me trying to rhyme and name other days of the week with certain Letter appropriate meals and bands, Thanks.

If I ever smoked this would be a good time to quit. Food or Cigs?? Hmmmmm...
