Winter Wear Rules

Kristi's rules:
Warm: 15 to 30--Sweatshirt and undershirt.
Chilly: 0 to 15--Jacket.
Cold: -30 to 0--multi layers plus jacket, or THE COAT, which never comes out until negative temps have been acheived.

Eli's rules:
Warm: t-shirt.
Chilly: hoodie sweatshirt.
Cold: hoodie sweatshirt and a little shivering.
If snow is present, all of the above can at will, be combined with a roll in the snow.

I'm glad I don't have the only thermostatically challenged children out there. I had a 17 year old who said, and I kid you not, "the cold never bothers me, my body acclimates to it, no matter how cold it gets". No amount of arguing could convince him otherwise.....until he endured a three and a half hour drive in an unheated car on a zero degree day. He came in claiming he was half frozen. I just responded with, "Oh no you're not, your body acclimates to the cold!"

So we should probably knock before we come into your house if it is over 30 degrees?

i use any deviation in the weather to sport my sweet 70's snow mobile suit. i had to stop wearing it, because, you know, the ladies wouldn't leave me alone. (cough)

Thailand:
80-85 with a breeze: coats and scarves, at the very least a sweater.
85-90: sweaters, scarves and umbrellas to keep the sun off of your skin
90-100 + 50% humidity: long sleeved shirt, let's face it, tshirts and tank tops are just skanky...
