I have mixed feelings about the outcome of the election. I am very sad that the abortion industry just got a boost, but I know God is sovereign. Therefore, I cannot crank and fuss. God's plan is in the works!
Praise be to the planner of all things.

This is exactly what we talked about during supper yesterday. God knows who'll win the election and it will be God's plan and He is still in control, no matter what. Makes it easier to breath today, knowing this.
It's exciting that God is in control! What hope we have!
I still like someone punched me in the stomach. My heart is heavy.
I still FEEL like someone punched me in the stomach.
Oh, and I feel like punching someone in the stomach.
My heart is heavy, too. But I know you are right.
the news after the electioins made me cry. I know that God is in control and has a reason for this but at the same time I can't help lifting my eyes and wondering why.
I try to be hopeful for the future of our nation, but I find myself fearful. How soon before we call our nation Sodom or Gomorrha (sp?) or have we become that already, even under "conservative" leadership? I go crazy looking at the big picture (kind of like trying to envision eternity) and have to focus on my mission in my sphere of influence, trusting God to lead me in these small things and do His will in the enormous things.
