While Kelli and I were on the route yesterday we saw a meteorite fall from the sky. Now everyone has seen "shooting stars" in the sky, but have you ever seen a flaming ball fall from the sky and hit the ground? I never have--until today. That was cool. I only wish we would have had time to go into the woods and look for the rock.

Kristi,
What were you two smokin at that time of the morning? I thought you gave that up years ago??!!!!!
I want to go look for it.
I heard about this on the radio yesterday. People all over the twin cities (and south) were seeing this. Crazy stuff, must've been a meteor shower or something. Or stray photon torpedos. Man I'm a nerd.
You can't go look for it!
What if it changes your molecular structure??
What if you turn into a magnet or something??!?!
If I changed into a magnet, I could stick myself on the fridge at night. I could draw a picture, then use MYSELF to hold it up. Sweet.
Kristi
If you turned into a magnet you couldn't blog. I think magnets wreck your computer. Don't do it man, don't go!
We must've gotten too close, though, because I have this unexplainable (is that a word??) urge to drive to Iowa. Now, that normally doesn't happen, so we must chalk it up to flaming space balls.
That sounds like an appetizer at Pizza Planet.
1. I'm already a 'goth-chick' magnet, apparently.
2. photon torpedos don't usually stray.
3. I thought I saw a flare that day in Hammond; could it hae' been a meteorite?
4. for the 4th of July each year I buy 'Barking Balls'; they flame but have yet to make it into space.
Didn't you see "Creepshow" part 1? Stay away from that meteor you "lunkhead!" Maybe nobody remembers that.....
