More Fun With Poppers

Some of the things my husband says really make me tip my head in wonder.

Eli's first (and last as it turned out) football game was in Woodville. Not quite a blink-and-you'll-miss-it town, but teensy nevertheless. Hudson's team smeared the Woodville team, as was expected, because as a really small town, Woodville has one team compared to Hudson's three.

I told John about the discrepancy between numbers of players and how the game had gone.

This is what he said:

"Well it's such a little bohunk town, they don't have as many boys in the school."

Bohunk?

I told him he probably meant "podunk".

He looked at me and said, "Yeah, it's all the same."

Pardon any spelling errors as I'm laughing so hard I may hit the wrong kei.

that is TOO funny...like you were writing about me...
my hubby cracks up at my wrong sayings, like "old shoe" instead of "old hat." and like your husband, i reply that it's the same thing, whatever! :) LOL! thanks for putting a smile on my face and a chuckle in my heart...i am not alone in my mix-ups :)

LOL! John - you rock! My mom does the same thing. ALL the time. The one we never cease teasing her about is the time she made VIRGIN pina coladas... yet decided, (innocently), to verbally shorten the whole concept as she invited the whole family into the kitchen for some "pinas". Uh huh. Not 'all the same' there, I have to say.
