Eli found "drumsticks". Actually, they are sticks that John cut for him out in the garage, about the same size and shape as drumsticks. Dad and I will have a talk later. He has been banging them all around the house all afternoon. I told him that I had had enough of the repetitive noise for the day and would he please stop? I told him I felt like sticking one of those sticks in my eye.
He said, "No! Mom don't!"
"Let me find you a sharp one."

Sometimes I call my husband a smartass. It slips out. He always says the same thing,"Better than being a dumbass."
