Every year I do it. Leave the Christmas shopping for the two weeks before Christmas. Every cotton-picking year. I always have the best intentions for choosing my giftage in the fall, or better yet, the garage-sale season...heehee.
So now here we are three weeks before Christmas and I have purchased exactly one gift. Even worse that I bought it this morning.
Is it really tacky to give your whole family gift cards?
I have an inherent hatred of the shopping thing. People that can shop all day make me wonder for their sanity. Why? Why would you want to do that?
Whenever I go shopping with friends--which is rarely, as they know how I am--I usually last about 20 minutes before I am wishing I was in the car reading a book. I would rather go to the LAUNDROMAT than go shopping. I would rather live on an ant hill. Ok, that one was excessive. But really.
Maybe I can hire someone to do the Christmas shopping for me.
Maybe some Valium....and a margarita or two. Then I wouldn't care how long it took.
