Eli and his friends are off to Camp Nathanael today. C.N. is an all-boy camp, with activities like shooting bb guns, archery, peeing on trees, y'know all the things boys love. This summer's main focus is "wipe with leaves that aren't poisonous."
I'm kidding.
Actually C.N. is an awesome camp that teaches Bible, and how to grow to be a man with Christian character. Eli loves going, and comes home with all kinds of stories. I did make him promise this year, however, to brush and floss his teeth, and take at least three showers during the week, one being on the day I pick him up. I refuse to ride for two hours in stifling heat with the windows down again this year. Mommy fun-sucker.
There will be many children there, learning about our great God. Please pray for them this week.
Notice the word children. Which brings us to our:
Kristi Rule #5
Don't use the word "kids" when you mean children.
Kids bleat, and have horns, children do not.

OK...I caught the hint. I'll make sure to at least tell Josh to take a shower so he won't stink up your car on the way home. I just can't guarantee it...deal?
Eli will tell him too. But there's always the luggage rack...
Hey, Jace and Josh are in the same cabin. I don't even think they know each other. I'll be praying along with you guys for our kiddos or children-whatever they are Kristi!
I'd like to take my kids with. Where's it at?
Hahaha. Kandi rules.
And yes, I will be praying.
And...is "kiddos" ok? I like that word.
Erin, you don't have to follow my rules. Even though the world would be a perfect place if everyone did...
Oh, and Kandi, you kill me. See you Tuesday.
