Tax Time

Everybody's talking about taxes this time of year. How much return they get, when they filed, if they haven't filed yet, yadayada. I was really excited about sending our taxes this year. Bought the Turbo Tax, shut myself in the office for a few hours. Poor John tried to have a conversation with me while I was trying to do them--not a good choice for the Poppers I'm sorry to say. (saucer of milk, table three...) Took longer than usual since we had 6 w-2 forms to report, and 2 1099s. Interesting year when your husband has four jobs, you have two, and own a business. About three days after I sent them, all in their neat manila envelope, I woke with a start at three in the morning realizing that I had asked John to sign the forms, then made one more revision and reprinted. So we got our taxes back really quick this year! And we get them back twice! Once for signing, and (soon I hope) once for refund. Hopefully not three times, once for audit...
