Savior

Resurrection Sunday's celebration always brings it home, doesn't it? Wow. This is the most that anyone will ever do for you. Ever. Jesus died so we can live. Forever. Think about it. Jesus became our sin so that we would not have to die for our sin.

God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:21

So that we can live in His presence forever.

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24

Forever. Eternity.

Here's how a pastor defined eternity to me once: A bird flies around the world and takes one peck at a mountain. Flies around the world again and takes another peck. Again and again until the mountain is gone. The time that it takes that bird to peck away that mountain is nothing compared to eternity.
Where do you want to spend that much time?

"Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised." 1 Chr. 16:23-25

Amen and Amen at the infinite value and worth of our Great Redeemer! I could never exhaust His praises for what He has done in me and for me. It would take all of eternity to give Him the due praises, and I will be forever singing unto Him. oh how lovely is Jesus Christ forever and ever AMEN!!
