John prefers working the night shift. He has had that schedule for most of his life. There are many advantages to John working at night. He gets to go fishing when most people are at work, and almost never has to contend with traffic on the way to and from his job.
He also finds that on Black Friday, he has no problem staying up all night to go shopping.
I think he's crazy, but he just loves going out and getting the bargains, and watching all the people. Go get 'em, Pops.
