Today I got this phone call at work:
"Hi, this is so-and-so and I just got a call from there. I can only assume it was ____."
"Well, he just left, so I can put you in his voicemail..."
"No, I'll just listen to the message and maybe there's a cell number."
Grrrr.
Which prompts this letter:
Dear Caller,
Please, please, please don't call the church when you see the number on your phone. I don't know--out of the 15 people who work here--who called you. Please.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about... people do that all the time at the law firm. drives. me. crazy.
I do that to my friends all the time. Should I stop? Or is it different when it's friends vs. a place of business-slash-church?
Do tell.
if you see my number, you know I called you.
Why wouldn't you just listen to the message first?? Oy.
paranoia-people are so weird. Who does that?
