Winter And Cars In Noserland

It is inevitable. My car breaks down in the winter. It has every year since I got it, it seems. Probably an exaggeration on my part, but you know.
This week it is the power steering. Blew the hose in the driveway on the coldest morning of the year. Same as last year. But I drove it this time--not the best thing to do, but you know, I needed the upper body workout.
But that's not the story. The story that I want to tell you is that because of my car being under the weather (!), I have to drive John's car.
Yeah.
John's cars are notorious for being POCs and this one is no exception, but A to B, right? Better than walking.
Well.
The one worstest thing about John's car, with the exception of no heat, is that the front driver's window does not work. It goes down, but you have to take the rubber doorstop out of the space between the window and the doorframe, push the window down and when you want it to "go" back up you have to stop the car and manually pull it up and shove the doorstop back in the window.
Well.
I of course had to go to the bank this morning.
Nuff said.

Sorry about the power steering and no heat. :(

I am so used to opening my door at the bank and the drive thru window that I will probably still do that when we get a new van. You know. The other day.

The door stop is a good idea. I need to try it.
