Today John and I were sitting at the kitchen table. I was telling him my opinion on how something should be done, and he was quiet. Uncharacteristic of him to be that quiet during a discussion, I asked him, "Don't you have anything to say about this?"
He paused.
A long time.
He looked at me and smiled. "Yes Dear?"
