I wish I had a little recording/playback device that could attach to my belt (if I wore a belt) and would play things like this:
"Pull up your pants."
"Pick up your feet, pick 'em up."
"No, you're not wearing that hat in church."
"Did you wash your hair?"
"With shampoo?"
"Pull up your pants."
"You're not allowed to watch that show."
"Did you floss? Really?"
"Brush your teeth."
"Pull up your pants."
"Don'tcha be talking to me like that."
Then I wouldn't have to be the bad guy, the machine would get all the guff.

I want one such device.
"Say yes to Momma."
"No, you may not have a snack."
"Share with Timmers."
"Stand in the corner."
"Talk nice."
"No, you just ate lunch. You may not have a snack."
"Turn that down."
"Don't wake up your brother."
"Go to bed."
"Take the dog out."
"Pull up your pants."
"It's your day, do something with the dog."
"Shut the light off."
"It's winter...close the door!"
"Turn that music down."
"Do you have any homework?"
"Where is/are your (hat, mittens, gloves, coat, planner)?"
It's winter...wear your coat."
"You're going to be late."
"Get going."
"Pull up your pants."
"Turn it down."
"No, no."
"Shirley, Mama said 'No.'"
"What's in your mouth?"
"No, no."
"Shirley, you're going to get hurt."
"Shirley Jean, Mama said 'No.'"
"Come here."
"Swallow what's in your mouth and you can have more."
"It's bed time."
"That's enough. It's time to go to sleep."
"Sshhhhh. It's bed time."
"That's enough. Lay down. I love you. Good night."
"Quiet!!!! The baby's asleep!"
Shelby where are your clothes?
Put your clothes back on.
Shelby it is too cold to be naked.
Where is your diaper?
You can't pee in the dolly potty chair.
Shelby why did you pee in the dolly potty chair!?
Shelby it is winter, you can't be naked like the Barbies.
I know they are Darbies. You don't have to tell me every time......
Shelby! Who is the Mamma!?
um, yeah.
OMG! I've been saying this for years! We moms never really need to learn to be a mom! No frustrations! No big discussions about how to handle things! Just a playback thing with all the SAME things ALL of us moms say EVERY DAY!
