Ran to Wal Mart tonight--of course I'm in a hurry, right?
Grabbed all my stuff, a couple of gallons of milk, a bottle of lotion, and hit the mother's day card aisle.
Hoofed it to the check-out. The guy in front of me only has a few items, ok good.
His total was about 45 dollars. He pays with five ten dollar gift cards. Did he take them out of the little envelopes? Noooo.
He gets done and I'm putting in the check card, then the pin and I hear the cashier laughing.
OMS.
She is standing there READING MY MOTHER'S DAY CARD.
I looked at her and told her I was really in a hurry. I should have asked her to look behind her to see the line she just crossed.
She gave me the LOOK and finished my transaction without a word. Not a thank you or anything.
I think she was lucky I was in a hurry.
Unbelievable.

Aisle 15?? Had her tonight too...
Time for a phone call to Management?
Not that it would probably do any good there.
I once saw an employee bawl out a customer for no good reason at the photo counter. I stood there with the poor lady and called a Manager, even though I threatened to never shop there again- they did nothing to the employee. Poor Lady was in tears.
Wait...are you sure it wasn't my pharmacist?
Ah, the new age of customer service.
Kristi, honestly now, she had no where to go. Why WOULDN'T she read your card?
Happy Birthday to YOU!!!
