Dear GC stylist,
When you took online hair-cutting classes, did they not teach you that BOTH sides of the hair should be even--as in the same length? I don't give a crap how nice your shiny tools look all displayed on the counter. You don't know what the hell you are doing. I'm sorry I tipped you at all. I should have tipped myself because I had to fix your boof when I got home.
Sincerely,
Kristi
I should have listened to the inner voice scream as the skunk-dyed 12 year old girl with the smoke breath and the skull and crossbones tattoo on her neck walked toward the front and called my name. I knew I should have stopped her when she started to cut my hair from the back forward. I should have asked her what part of "two-and-a-half-on-top" she didn't understand.

Oh, NO.
I'm sorry.
Was Harrison there?
Oh Dear!
That sounds like the girl who cut my hair! She told me she couldn't cut it like the picture I brought and she would just do what she could~ EEK.
We could all bring Scissors tonight and help you fix it?
Beauty Salon & Movie Night.
Ooh. So sorry...
ouch-that always smarts...
Not so great clips, eh? I am sorry but your description is toooo funny!
Kristi said hell.
I said a lot more than that.
I just never seem to learn my lesson with Great Clips. Keep going back and usually regret it when I do! And that's just for 5 year old Emily's hair. Sorry for your bad experience. so frustrating when you're hoping to come out feeling fresh and pretty.
If we can fix it at home with NO training, what are they doing?? They should be able to cut hair with their eyes closed and one pair of scissors tied behind their back.
Perhaps the answer is baldness. Complete and total baldness. I mean, how hard can it be, right?
So sorry for you.
I had the same experience at GC, Kristi: a crooked haircut! Sorry you had a bad experience.
Them whacky stylists!

Stylist Shoots Customer in the Buttocks for Complaining About Haircut
WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) - A hairstylist shot an unhappy client after she complained about her haircut, police said.
Lauren Newton, 28, was getting her hair cut Thursday at the home of Monique Reed when the two began to argue about the style, police said.
"She (Reed) went to the bedroom, got a gun, fired a shot in the ceiling," Police Chief James Blyth said. Newton, who was trying to flee with her sister, was then shot in the lower back, he said.
Reed, 38, was charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. She remained in jail in this southwestern Pennsylvania town in lieu of $50,000 bond.
Newton's injuries were not considered life threatening. She was taken to a hospital in nearby Pittsburgh for treatment.

I don't know if I dare admit this, but I had a Great Clips stylist walk out on me once. She was cutting Emily's hair and kept doing the exact opposite of what I was asking for. She got so mad at me that she made the manager take over. The manager apologized profusely and said I had been very clear (and polite, I might add) in my request. This was in Indiana, however. So I guess they're bad everywhere. :)
GC in Hudson- see Beth she is WONDERFUL!! The one time I couldn't get her and took the risk, she came over and told the girl what to do.
farf
Argh, I hate that when that happens! I went to Fantastic Sams once and walked out with my hair crooked, looking like an idiot. The solution: SHAVE MY HEAD DARN NEAR BALD.
How humiliating.
DTLB--thanks for that story--I guess I'm lucky I didn't get shot in the butt.
Farf--I'll call and get her the next time.
hehehe.....boof
Kristi, don't EVER go to a beauty college either. I did that ONCE when I was in my early twenties, because it was cheap. Of course, I was too polite to tell the girl that the cut sucked when she was done. INstead, I went to cost cutters and got a buzz cut! lol
