Irony At Its Finest

Yesterday I had to pick up my car from the mechanic. They had it for a couple of days fixing a myriad of things that went wrong all at the same time. He handed me the bill.
Nine.
Hundred.
Dollars.
The breath was sucked from my lungs, the floor swirled around, I pulled out the credit card.
Took my baby home.
Today the "Service Engine Soon" light came on.

Thank Goodness you had a credit card, What would a girl do otherwise?!
I don't think crying would have got you out of that one.....
I have used it multiple times on the cops though- Works like a charm.

I took mine in for an oil change. I pick it up tomorrow with a new water pump, belt, tensioner(?), front brakes AND fresh oil. $900. I am right there with you.
