Started out tonight with a trip to the Felton's for supper. MMMM! Pork roast, cheesy smashed potatoes and some sort of Italian-y type bread. Eddie was my date, but as it turned out, he liked Hondo too much and I was dissed by him the entire evening.
Went home and grabbed a couple hours of sleep and was up and at it at midnight. I volunteered to chap the overnight youth event at church. 1-4 was my shift, but I ended up having so much fun I stayed and helped cook breakfast. Eli hit the sleeping room early, so I watched and learned and reported--some would call it tattling, but as a mom, I am exempt from that type of name calling.
All in all the kids were very well behaved and we had an excellent time. As a bonus I got to help cook for 50 people, what's more fun than that?

More fun than cooking for 50 people? Well, let me see:
1. Sticking toothpicks under my fingernails.
2. Sitting on an ice-cold toilet seat.
3. Getting my SUV stuck in a ditch...
Need I go on?? ;-)
Glad you had fun.
I have fond memories of being "it" during sardines.
The best thing was to hide until people started finding you and then quietly go hide somewhere else.
I'm pure evil.
V - so with ya there:
1. 3rd degree burns
2. The Polar Plunge on a day like today.
3. Getting my fingers slammed in the car door.
Kristi: So glad you had a great time, sorry I missed you!
What's so hard about cooking for 15 people?! Wait...50??!! Never mind.
1. Cooking for 60 people
2. Having your friend blog about it the next day.
Time for an undate...blogging queen.
Kristi, you're such a good sport!
Carla, honestly, even cooking for 15 people stresses me a bit. I'll do it, but not without a headache by the end.
I want a t-shirt that says "I Flipped French Toast for 50"
Tia,
What the heck's an undate?
I'm so glad the Feltons cared for you and cooked for you. You are loved.
