Happy New Year!

Happy 2008 to all!

I was listening to the tv this am and on one of those morning talk shows was a lady that said daily blogs were so "last year", that she was so tired of them. Obviously she hasn't hung around the bloghilarity that goes on around our corner.

Dear tired-of-blogs-lady,
We love our blogfriends and enjoy keeping up with their lives on a daily basis. We look forward to Erin's work stories, Carla's child stories, Vonda and Mark's poetry and word pictures, and checking in with the numerous friends we have met on the blogs.
Would we ever have met Jen without the blog and seen her husband Brian's amazing artwork? Would we have enjoyed watching Naomi and Erin's bellies grow and keep up with their progress? Not to mention seeing little Sophia from birth!
I am sorry you are tired of the blogs, and think they are passe'. You are the one losing out on your friends' lives. We shall continue sharing and connecting with blogfriends through 2008 and beyond. (now I sound like Buzz Lightyear)
Sincerely,
Mammaknows

PS. People who should start a blog:
Heidi
Lauren
Kris H
Steve H

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAULERS!

I suspect that this year, as the campaigns really get running, we're going to be hearing a lot from the Democrats about how blogging is insignificant and passe; especially when bloggers drag the skeletons out from Ms. Clintons' past...

BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA!
get those skeletons out...
kristi, i wish you COULD send Ms. tired-of-blogs that letter! as an at-home mom, by "blog time" in the morning is sometimes the only adult interaction i have til 6pm! pretty sad, but the truth! i LOVE these blogs, and love laughing with you and carla. you two crack me up!!
Blessings to you...hopefully we can meet face-to-face soon.
(oh, and thanks for the nod to my hubby's artwork. He really is amazing!)

Kristi,
I just like reading your blog and the others with you in blogging. It makes me happier each day when I laugh at your stuff and what others say. I don't know how to do blogs and have no extra time. I am just learning how to text message and that takes me forever.

Wow--Kristi--unity super powers--maybe they could make a doll out of you--like the power rangers!! Then people could set you up next to their computer when they are blogging!! Just kidding.
You are good at unifying though girl. I can just feel your big squeezes too! Miss you already. Come down soon!
