...no not that kind.
I'm talking gasoline here. Poppers spilled gas on his clothes yesterday. I have now washed them three times and the smell remains. Any tips?
Wanna know the kicker? I put the stinky clothes in with a load that I had just started and now they all stink. Not good. What is it about one stinky thing that can ruin a whole bunch of stuff? Sick.

Since I adore the smell of gas I would love to come and sniff em up for ya. I have no other ideas.
Carla, I thought that was only while you were pregnant?
Kristi, maybe vinegar? I've heard that helps with smells. I'm pretty sure tomato juice is only for skunk smells, plus it might ruin your clothes.
OOH! I'm gonna try the vinegar. After the third wash I just hung them outside. They still stink. Sheesh
Seems to me, sunshine gets rid of gas. I'm sorry that the sky isn't cooperating today, but I'm thinking that I had to do that with something....unfortunately, it was a different season. But it worked.
Katie,
During pregnancy I CRAVED the smell of gasoline. Now I just love it. :)
I spose I am iron deficient or something.
or gas deficient...
I thought I read once that Baking Soda absorbs odors?- Worth a try-
Baking soda might work.

Another idea: BORAX--supposed to take care of pee odor, so why not gas odor?
Or how bout vinegar, baking soda and Borax all together. Wonder what would happen.
Maybe we should tell Carla about the borax....
ps. the pants are STILL hanging outside.
cat pee or person pee? Borax. I don't like the name.
