It got so cold and windy today walking into our house was a real pleasure. Mmmmmm I love to be warm.
Here are a few things I am looking forward to winter-wise:
Bright sunshine on sparkly new snow.
A foot of snow on AWANA night. (heh heh)
The look of the trees after an ice storm.
Our warm snuggly house.
How blue the sky looks in the winter.
Clear crisp nights full of stars.
I really don't like to be cold, but I like winter!

Kristi - love your refreshing perspective on winter. I usually just go into survival mode (try to make it through by going someplace warm for at least a week) - but you're right; there's a lot of beauty in this season too.
Reegz, I think you missed the "I really don't like to be cold" part.
The cold pours in from the window above my bed but I have flannel sheets and a down comforter.
I get to warm up Cheryl's side before she gets in.
Anna and Cheryl both warm their feet on my legs.
Rosy cheeked kids and making hot chocolate.
Ice-fishing
Oh, and spending a month in Charleston, SC
Swampy, when do we leave? Wait, you didn't know that Cheryl invited all of us down for "Blogger's Month in SC"??

I, personally, do not like the winter. It makes me want to hibernate.
I do like a good storm, though.
Come on down to Florida when you are sick and tired of the cold, cold winter. We miss you. We be lonely in the warm, warm sun!

I just came back from Charleston-Kiawah Island to be exact. Charleston was a cool town!
I really love the words "rental property" and "hook us up" in the same sentence.
I love white Christmas lights in a dark room with George Winston in the backround.....(playing music..not thee George..you know what I mean.)
Ohhhh...ohhh...and popcorn and hot chocolate.....a great combination..and warm fuzzy slippers.
