Katie has Isaiah and Anna, Carla has her little peeps, I have John for a crazy sentence or two.
John and I were playing cards last night and I was beating him. Poppers does not like to get beat at cards. Heavy on the "does not". Last night he was not a happy man. Sometimes as a non-happy man, some of the "factory talk" slips.
"Well shit and shinola!" he said.
Then he looked at me.
"Oh! Excuse my French.....and Spanish."
I guess I never knew shinola was a Spanish word.

In a way John may even be funnier than the Stream children. One almost expects such stuff from the kids but somehow coming from an adult it's even funnier. I don't know who to apologize to first Carla or John? I'm still just laughing out loud here so I apologize for the rambling.
That is what I love about your family--real down to earth people.
I have never heard Gregg say a bad word in his whole life--I mean it, but when he plays his brother in golf or racquetball, he will say "shickenjanzkee"--must be some kind of language!! OR when he sneezes outloud it sounds like he is saying "bullshit". He claims he is totally not saying it!
So, I've been trying all day to come up with something to comment on Pa's comment.
I guess all I can say is--I needed that!
Scheisskopf! Ed's sitting here with me and says to excuse his German.
Well, you have to admit, it has that "ola" at the end that's pretty deceptive.
Maybe he thought it was a way of saying "Good Morning", but only on sunny days...
Shine Hola!
