Not So Easy Come, Easy Go

Yesterday after bowling (I did crappy by the way) I went to get Eli some football cleats. In our up-and-down-my-fault-because-I-don't-do-a-budget money situation, shoes were not easy to come by this week. Whatever, it's important for the boy, and so I visited a Famous Store to see what I could find. Buy one get one 1/2 off was the deal of the day. I got a pair of sweet cleats for a not-so-bad-price. The lady at the checkout asked me if I would like to get another pair at the deal price. I declined, but found out that I can come in anytime from now until Saturday and get another pair at 1/2 price. Cool!
Eli came out of practice with a scowl on his face, I asked him what was wrong.
"Somebody stole my shoes."
Guess that deal will work out after all.

gasp! I can't believe it. Poor buddy.

Thanks for getting him what he needs though. even though you gotta do it twice. How in the world is the thief gonna wear those for football and not be seen? I just don't get it.

Does this mean his got medical clearance?

That never happened when I was a kid. That sucks.

I'm with Kelli, go neon pink and no one will touch them with a ten-foot pole. Plus, he'll likely quit football and you won't have to buy him more cleats ever!

I vote NO on the hot pink idea.
Why embarass him? Just write his name in and on the shoes this time.

I mean, write his name in hot pink puff paint.
Obviously.
