Sunday evening a gift was given to me by my precious Jesus. While I was working on the glass I praised God when the pieces fit, and when they did not, I learned patience. I brought the piece to church on Sunday in time for the Well service, and found myself unwilling to "toot my own horn". Those of you who know me well know that this is not always the case, unfortunately. This piece was a gift to me. A gift of patience, praise, and ultimately glory to God.
I finished the piece and told Poppers that since it was to be used on a table, I wanted to know if he could weld something that would show it off properly. OMS. What he made is just as much a piece of art as the glass. Two gifts for His honor.
