Just Like Riding A Bike

John and I went on a bike ride this morning. I can't remember the last time I rode a bike. Really.
John's nephew asked us if we wanted the bike he bought but never rode, and John thought it would be a good thing for Hannah, to save gas and all. The minute I saw that beauty, I cried dibs.
21 speed Shimano with a fat butt seat. Mine, all mine.
So I figured if I was going to grab the toy away from my daughter, I'd better get my butt on that fat butt seat.
Waaay harder than I remember, of course the last time I rode I was probably in my teens and waaay thinner.
It was fun though, I enjoyed the ride--we only went about a mile and a half, but sprinted (yeah about that) to the finish.
Uphill.
Woof.
Mark and Cheryl, when we have coffee at your house, I'll ride my new beauty to the party.

Awesome!
I haven't ridden a bike since we moved to Roseville.
I'm feeling inspired!

Your Shimano and "Big Red" have a date sometime.

It gives you an appreciation for those John Deere tractor seats, huh?
