Hannah is moving out of the house this weekend. She is going to live far, far from home. Three whole miles. Actually, she is moving in with her older sister, and Eli is having slight abandonment issues. We did let him be in on the decision, asked his opinion, and he said he wouldn't have a problem with it. After all, she's only at Brandy's, right? Hmmm.
Today he was trying to get someone to play PS2 with him. I don't play those games because they make me feel carsick, and Hannah and Poppers were moving her bed.
"Won't ANYONE play with me?" he whined.
I told him to ask Eddie.
"Mom, Eddie doesn't have opposable thumbs."

That's it. You've put off the purchase long enough. It's time for a monkey.
I'm sorry for Eli's empty nest syndrome. On a side note I've found someone else who gets carsick from video games, as Isaiah would say, Suh-weet.
aw, poor snuggidy. That's no fun. I'm REALLY voting for the monkey. after all, you have an extra room now.
No Monkey!
Ouch. Sorry, Eli.
I love the monkey idea. The only down side would be changing Monkey's diapers. Unless you think you could get Nathan to come teach Monkey the Cheerios game...
Cute!
Our daughter moved out 2 years ago to start college and spent last summer working at a summer camp. This is her first extended period at home. She's informed us that it hasn't been as bad as she thought, but she wouldn't plan to be home next summer. Ouch!
She has opposable thumbs, maybe she can be Eli's buddy next summer?
Ship 'er on up here.
