We got a letter yesterday that our dishwasher was under a recall. If we had used liquid jet-dry (one of my fave products) it could cause corrosion of the wires inside the door of the dishwasher resulting in fire. Whoo. I was instructed to not use the dishwasher until it was fixed or replaced.
I was also informed that if I chose to replace the dishwasher, GE would kindly gift me $300 toward the new shiny purchase. I'm goin' shoppin'.
First I have to go to the GE website and see what's what.

My friend has this amazing dishwasher with stainless steel lining. It'll wash the flowers right of the plates. This is as opposed to my glorified dish rinser that came with the house. The dog does a better job of cleaning dishes than the dishwasher. Hope you find a really good one!

Oh, and I looked online, the dishwasher I have now costs $899.00. I'll have to think about it.
