Bugaloos Theme Song:
The Bugaloos!
The Bugaloos!
We're in the air and everywhere,
Flyin' high Flyin' loose,
Flyin' free as a summer breeze,
Happy as a summer breeze!
(Kazoo solo!!!)
The Bugaloos!
The Bugaloos!
We're in the air and everywhere!!!
Land of the Lost:
(Stolen directly from the website--who knew?)
Q: Who were those green lizard men?
A: Those guys were called Sleestak. The were tall, thin and used little crossbows with skill that hasn't been seen since Kevin Costner tried to speak with an English accent in Robin Hood.
H.R. Pufnstuff
the witch's name was "Witchiepoo"
But the best of all...
Sigmund and the Seamonsters
Trust me, you have to see this site. Make sure you play the intro video--really brings back memories.

I remember all of this! Okay..who were the two women who were super heroes? They were sisters, one was quite a bit older than the other one....I am so blanking. They had red capes...come on..help me out here.
I remember Dr. Shrink...I hated that one...he was so mean to the little people.
Oh, oh...okay...did anyone watch the "New Zoo Revue?" There was Freddy the Frog, Henrietta the Hippo, Something the owl and then a guy with a dark moustache and a woman. They sang and danced. I'm going to go google that one...I'll keep you posted.
Okay, okay..I answered my own questions. I know, I need my own blog site....sorry Kristi...does anyone remember Electra Woman and Dyna Girl? The name came to me and yes, you can buy some episodes..not going to...but...too funny. That was bad tv, man. Just corny.
How is it possible that I don't remember any of this?????
Kristi, thanks for the great memories! I never comment here but I do visit sometimes.
Sheri, I actually have an Electra Woman and Dyna Girl lunchbox in my kitchen. You need to come over for lunch.
Brillig, this all happened during the seventies. It may have been before your time.
WOW! I loved those shows!!!!! Land of the Lost was my favortie but, I liked when the bugaloos would sing. I wanted to be the girl bugaloo, I think she was pink. That was the first time I'd heard an English accent and I LOVED it! How fun. I'm soooo checking out the website. I can almost remember Sigmond's theme song: Sigmond the Sea Monster....
Land of the Lost came out when I was in late grade school, remember those days when your mom would come to school and you would see "the film"? I remeber wondering where the girl was going to get a bigger bra and feminine hygiene supplies. These are thed questions that troubled my soul. Now I'm going to need yet another therapy session since you reminded me of all this angst on the character's behalf.
Too fun, Kristi! I loved Josie and The Pussycats too.
