My apologies for blogging about Hannah again, but hey--I'll only do this Hannahgraduation thing once.
Hannah left for her last day of school today--she was happy in that the last class of her last day of high school was jazz band. Awesome. John mentioned this morning that I wasn't acting today--Hannah's last day--anything like I did for her first day of school, ie: a puddle.
That's ok, I just can't think about it too much...
Last night was Baccalaureate service. The music was great--that Nate Szyman sure is talented--and the speakers, for the most part, were good. I had a hard time with God as our Father being compared to Mufasa and Simba in the Lion King. Whatever, the speaker was doing his speech off the cuff, and I think he didn't quite know where to go. Hannah looked beautiful in her cap and gown. But then again, Hannah would look beautiful in a gunny sack.
Because a lot of my friends and friendbloggers have small children that are quite funny, I am going to let little Hannah entertain you today:
One day she spilled all of her crayons on the floor, and she muttered under her breath, "Just make me curzy."
Fireworks used to "scur" her as in "No, it scur me mom."
At 18 months (we have this one on tape) we were cleaning strawberries. As she pushed a chair to the sink, and climbed up she said "What yoo do-een?"
When she was learning to say the letter "L" she always said "Kewie" for Aunt Kelli. So I would work with her, saying "la, la, la, Kelli." She would answer, "la, la, la, Kewie."
Oh, the memories.

Good job Mom!
How can some weeks just crawl by yet the years seem to be flying faster.
I love seeing the love you have for Hannah in your blogs!!
Your one story reminds me of when Mikale was little .....He couldn't say Kristin, it was tistin. (as in Autie Kristin). We would work on Kr KR KR. He could say cracker, so we went with that. "CCrr-acker"
"Cr" acker....."Kr"istin. No luck He would say "Cracker.. Cracker.. Tistin". Finally he just started calling her "Autie Cracker".
Where are the Kleenexes??
Kelli, I'm wondering who is going to cry more, you or me!
I LOVE the "Just make me curzy." I think I'll adopt it.
Congratulations on the graduation! I think all parents should be congratulated as well as their graduating children.
