Here is one of my fave days:
Lots of clothes to wash.
So breezy and warm that the clothes I hang outside are dry before I get the next load done.
Ahhhh...laundry.
Some may think I'm crazy, I know, but I love to do laundry.
Wanna know another strange thing about me? I love to match socks. I think I could probably hire myself out for a fee on that one.
I used to love to go to my friend Kathaleena's house because she had a huge basket of socks to sort--ok that's not the only reason, but y'know.

You have to be kidding me. At our house we fight over who's turn it is to match up socks! Everyone here HATES to do the socks!! We all have tons of socks because sometimes we leave the socks for a few weeks before someone breaks down and matches them. Lets see....how could I set up some way to drop off our socks to be matched up.
With ya Kristi! I love laundry too!
Kim, we can negotiate a barter. What do you love to do that I don't like to do? We could make a trade.
How about painting? Not a big fan of painting.
I hate laundry, but I have a good friend that loves laundry day. She finds it theraputic.
Have you ever heard of the idea of giving each member of the family a mesh bag for their socks? That way everyone gets to match their own and they're not all mixed together in sock chaos. 'Course that would take all of Kristi's fun away!
You KNOW I love putting laundry on the line! I even hang it out in the winter if the humidity is low enough to dry it. I started a new thing tho' cause I hate folding. Each person gets one line. I hang it. They take down their own and fold it. Solved the sock problem by each person has a different brand or color combination. I "fling" the socks into their baskets and the can fold them or not. Call me lazy or call me smart.
I love doing laundry. I like washing, drying (dryer or line) and folding. Then the laundry sits in baskets. I hate putting laundry away. I like mathching socks though. they just don't end up in drawers.
I hate laundry. but I love having clean laundry. But I wouldn't want anyone else doing my laundry so I'm stuck doing it...
One of my first "jobs" after HS was working in a laundromat. Every week, there would be people that are like some of you...hate that job. They would pay me to sort, wash, dry and fold their clothes while they went out and did other errands (or sat in the bar). I LOVED IT! Ok, the sorting other people's dirty bits wasn't my favorite. I love folding and yes, for those of you that know me, organizing the drawers.
I used to love having the clothesline out back, too. But now we don't have a walkout to the back yard, so I'd have to haul all the clothes through the garage to get them on the line. I guess I don't love it THAT much. Plus, how many times does that one item (sock, underwear) fall out on the way to the line? Ugh...on the garage floor? No way.
When you're stressed, think neat, square piles of warm, fuzzy laundry. Ahhh...like an aquarium of fish.
Are you talking about the same kathaleend who sat across my bed from me three weeks ago and matched all my socks (throwing away the ones she deemed "too disgusting to keep washing?").
Erin,
The one and only.
