The Eyes Have It

I have been seeing a lot of ads recently for a Lasik clinic that advertises "LASIK as low as $299 per eye". These ads are mostly on at news time. (how much money are these people making?)
The thing that gets me is that they also offer financing up to 2008.
Ok.
My math is pretty basic, but come on! Who needs 2 year plus financing for six hundred bucks?
Can you say bait and switch?
Tell the truth people!

"Oh, the $299 deal? Well, just step into this room Mr. Smith and we'll set you up with Blind Bobby and his amazing knife-throwing monkey. Have a good day!"

It's actually using the old lasers. I checked into it once and was like, "yeah, right, I want to use the old ones in the back alley with your rusty scapula. Sure, sign me right up." Anyway, I did get lasik 3 years ago and love it. For now. :O)

I wish I had the nerve to get lasik. I'm too afraid my eyeballs will fall out. Reegz--let me know, will ya?

Pat--as Kristi would say, Ohmystars. That website is TOO crazy. Like I'm just gonna lay back on the couch and GIVE MYSELF eye surgery.
No problem. Piece of cake--or should I say Piece of Eye?

Yeah Kristi, that's what I meant! Too much health and safety study here at home I guess. Good eye-no pun intended. Hee-hee.
