It is so good to have Eli home, and Hannah doesn't have to work today until 6, so she is home all day! All our family in the same nest. I think Eli is glad to be home, too. It wasn't long (after a much needed nap) that he was out in the back yard hunting gophers. By the end of the day John was shelling out the dough. I'm not sure of the arrangement he and Eli have, but I believe it is a lucrative one for the little man, and a wallet-emptying one for the big man.
Now I'm sitting here blogging, John and Eli have gone fishing, and Hannah is in the other room playing with Eddie. Wonderful. Makes me think of a rule--HA! Gotcha! Just snuck up on you that time, didn't I?
Kristi Rule #11
Tell your children "I love you" every day.
I don't remember hearing this much as a child (once actually), so I tell them often. Sometimes so often, I'll say "Hey Eli", and he'll respond, "I know, mom, you love me." May drive 'em crazy when they are adolescents, but they'll remember that it was said, and that's the important thing.

Tell your friends you love them often as well.
Love You Kristi!
My mom said that she loved me but didn't like me. ouch I didn't want to hear it as much as I wanted to see it in action.
I love you too, Tia Maria!
Karli, that bites. But as your surrogate mom, I love you AND like you!
there's nothing worse than saying "I love you" and not hearing it back. ouch that hurts:(
Thanks Kristi-I need this reminder!
