Eh?

A friend and I used to play a game, "Eh?". I would say something and he would turn it into something completely different, as if he didn't hear me.
"Ok, I gotta go."
"Eh? Ya say it's gonna snow?"
That type of thing.
We used to have some huge laughs over these word games, sometimes the response would be so great we would use it over and over. Now that I write about it, it doesn't seem as funny...
Eh? Ya like your eggs runny?
Man, I miss him.
