Joliet

Finally! I have been waiting for two days to get this computer up and running on the hotel wi-fi (or however you spell it). Thank you Steve. My brother-in-law (Joan's husband) is a computer whiz and thanks to him, you all can enjoy my blog form the beautiful city of Joliet Illinois.
We are here to celebrate John's sister Margaret's 40th Nunniversary. That means she has been a nun for 40 years, 30 of it in Brazil. (and yes, I made up the nunniversary word, they don't call it that). The church here had a big celebration Mass and a nice dinner to show honor to the nuns. One lady was celebrating her 75th year, a whole bunch that had been serving for 60 years, too. Wow. We had a good time catching up with all the sisters(!) and brothers in John's family. Had a bunch of yakking, cards and fun. More Noser time, whoo hoo!
Heading home tomorrow, oh and I rented a sahweet car for the trip. It is a Pontiac Grand Prix and the tires squeal if you hit the gas hard enough at the green light, trust me. Fun car, John said he will buy me one in 10 years or so.
See you tomorrow!

I'm glad you're having a fun time! Say hi to the sisters for me. : )
