Fake Fire
Mary and I are sitting in the office, and Bill is having the fire alarm tested. The alarm is going on and on, and Mary and I are harmonizing to it. Gotta have fun, right? This reminds me of a few years ago, our well pump was in the process of dying, and made the most annoying loud noise. And it would go on and on for a minute or so. I know, a minute is not a long time, but when you have to listen to something like that--I mean it was just so annoying. Not unlike a sick elephant playing a trumpet that had been run over by a semi. Yeah, like that. And the thing would go off in the middle of the night! The neighbors could hear it! Ok, now we're on the same page. That night we were sitting playing cards with the Smiths--no not an alias that's their name--and the thing starts up. So you can't talk, just have to wait so I started to hum the next note of the chord, and Kelli joined in, and then Jeffrey joined in too! We just started to laugh! Spontaneous harmonizing!

Kind of like when Jace just makes "noises" over and over. Boys are so weird. They do that kind of thing over and over and over and over and over.....I know you can relate because you have a boy and they ALL do it. Strange they are!
He wasn't testing the fire alarms because of the new inlet, was he? Hee hee! "Do I smell smoke?" Chuckling to myself, here.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Kelli.
