Tonight as I was listening to the news while getting supper ready I heard that the people in Afghanistan were "furious" about a US airstrike today. Just at that moment the Emergency Broadcast System did their weekly test.
Whew. That was a little scary.

scary to think that in england, that was the original purpose of the sirens.
hmm. makes ya think, doesn't it? i think about it when i see the C-130's practicing thier manuveurs over the Cities here.
They could take out the whole Mid-West if they wanted to....
