Eli and were driving the other day and we saw a police car.
"Hey! Po Po!" Eli said,
I informed him that police officers were not to be called names, it is disrespectful.
--No I did not tell him of all the names we used to call officers when I was young--
"Sorry mom but whenever I see a 'police officer'" he said while making the quotation mark sign, "my mind just says 'Po Po'."
"Really," I countered, "whenever I see one all I can think is 'ohmygoshhowfastamigoing'."

I can see the insurance bill already--I better start saving!
Kelli, I have no idea what you're talking about.
I was doing a 'ride-along' with my bestest bud who is now almost ready to retire from Alameda P.D. in the Bay area of California; this was back in the early 90's when I was getting hired there. He said all of the scumbags called them 'Po-Po' because when they would do an arrest for some ambiguous offense, the guy would ask "Why are you hasslin' me?" and the reply was "Po-Po" and it meant that they had 'Pissed Off the Police Officer'.
i was raised by the po po and they never seemed to mind it. my dad even collected pig figurines if you can believe it. oh, new post by the way.
Hahahahaha!
dang, Charlie, I thought you croaked! Welcome back!
Aahhhh, remember the Po-Po joke?!
When the Officer says, "Gee. Your eyes look red, have you been drinking?" You probably shouldn't respond with, "Gee Officer, your eyes look glazed, have you been eating doughnuts?"
