God's Providence

Today was Hannah's commissioning as a missionary. For those of you who don't know what that entails, the missionary is called to the front of the church and people lay hands on them and pray for them. Well I in all my momminess was a puddle with promise of sobbing when called to the front to lay hands on my daughter for the prayer. So I was praying "God please give me your strength to not be a puddle and cry uncontrollably up there when we are called up." As the song ended before the missionaries were to be called, I was trying to control myself, and prayed the prayer again.
"God please make it so I don't make a complete sobfest out of myself up in front."
And God in His goodness gave me a gift.
Larry called the worship team to pray over those going to Thailand.
Whew.
Not that I wouldn't have gone up front, but just when you think you know EXACTLY what's going to happen, right?
Thanks Papa.

I'm gonna miss you my girl.
